How to Apply

Professionals who work on programs related to climate change in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, or Honduras are invited to apply to the Climate Change Professional Fellows Program.

All of the following materials must be emailed to Judith Adler by February 15, 2011 for your application to be considered complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Completed application form
    The application form can be downloaded to the right.
  • Statement of Intent
    In 250-300 words outline your interest in the Climate Change Fellows Program
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
    The letters should be from individuals who know your professional work in the area of climate change. The letters can be in Spanish or English.
  • Letter from employer
    A letter from the employer (in Spanish or English) supporting the applicant and the institution’s participation in the program, including a commitment to host a U.S. Climate Change Fellow for 2 weeks.
  • Resume/CV
    Please include details of past academic and professional experience.
  • Evidence of English Language Skills
    This can be a TOEFL score report or report from some other English exam; if you have studied for at least two years at an institution where the language of instruction is English, you are exempt from this requirement.
